Genealogy can provide an invaluable window into the past. Everyone has their own reasons for researching their ancestors—to learn where they came from, to preserve a legacy for future generations, to better understand one's self and one's family. Whatever your reasons, The City Library can help you get started with these monthly classes. Instructors will provide laptops and guide you through the tools available at FamilySearch.com, where you'll learn how to create your own four-generation pedigree chart.

Registration is required. Please RSVP to PersonalFamilyHistory@gmail.com. When you RSVP you will receive the "My Family" booklet that will help you get started on your four-generation pedigree chart.

This is a Community Service Project Sponsored by the Salt Lake Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Marmalade Branch.
