Color My World
Photography by Amy Fairchild
Reception: Sat, Aug 5, 4pm
Striving to remove the complications of daily life into a morphing form of pure color is what I pursue. I am an abstract photographer with an eye for color and a feel for mood. Minimalism of the environment is my goal. Our unconscious thought of light, abstract and color create peacefulness within each of us, and photography can be a way to capture and preserve that. My growing body of work continues to morph into an ever larger display of what nature provides. My work blends the feel of both photography and painting in a way that is very simplistic and yet quite intricate. Color induces a wide range of emotion depending upon the hue of the photograph. From soothing to chaotic, color makes us feel, makes us alive. Dive into my photographs, become a part of them, experience them. My goal is for you to find your own peace. I have.
