Bring your own comfy chair and a refreshing beverage, wear a retro outfit, and don't forget the bug spray! All films start at 8:30pm in the back parking lot of the Chapman Branch. Screenings will move indoors in case of rain.

Salt Lake City is home to many resettled members of the Rohingya, Karen, and Karenni populations from Burma and we welcome their contributions to the discussion.

The Salt Lake City Library hosts art exibits throughout the year. We also lists citywide exhibits here and in our events calendar. If you are a local artist, click on "Call for Entries" to get involved.

CALL FOR ENTRIES

Exhibits are chosen by a staff committee according to the needs and interests of the community, the variety of shows, the artistic quality of the works, and the suitability of format for each library's physical space. Submissions are accepted twice annually: during the two-week periods prior to April 10 and October 10.

Teen artists and art instructors, submit your or your student's portfolio to be featured at The City Library! We are always on the lookout for original art exhibitions for the Main Library's Canteena Space on Level 2, and welcome submissions year-round.
