EXHIBIT STATEMENT
Chromanature: "Chroma" means color, and "nature" has two meanings—as a synonym for texture as well as the phenomena that occur in the physical world. By harnessing the visual beauties of Earth's dynamic landscapes, I hope to embody the primeval soul not visible to the eye. I want my work to function as a kaleidoscope that magnifies and diversifies hue, focuses on detail, and lends an appreciative lens focusing on the whole soul—both body and spirit—of our world.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Idaho Falls and moved to Utah to attend Brigham Young University, where I earned a BFA in Visual Arts, Emphasis in Painting. During that time, I developed a deep interest in the way that paint functions when combined with collage. I love the texture of altered magazines pages, the way the pages glow with color when combined with glazes of paint, and navigating the challenge of allowing both the media and collage elements to complement one another.
