My excitement for photography began in high school when I took an intro to photography class. I soon found it combined perfectly with my interest in the great outdoors. After purchasing my first DSLR camera, I began taking my camera wherever I went. Because of my family's frequent road trips, I had the privilege of seeing, and capturing in photographs, some of the most beautiful places in North America, from dense cities, to 11,000-ft mountains, to both coasts. For my entire life I have been drawn to nature: rocks, trees, mountains, deserts, rivers, and oceans. I love to capture the beauty of each. As I grew older I also began to appreciate the urban landscape more and more, seeing the angles and shapes present in urban architecture, and feeling just as drawn to capturing images of people and buildings as I did water and rock.
