Little Red and Big Bad and The Leprechaun of Finnegan's Bridge by The Utah Puppet Players
In Little Red and Big Bad, a musical version of Little Red Riding Hood, the hungry wolf is only trying to get a square meal. One of Red's baskets has fruits and veggies; the other has junk food. What's a hungry wolf to do? In The Leprechaun of Finnegan's Bridge, the villagers must cross the bridge to get to the fair. But who lives under the bridge? The troublesome green guy, of course! He manages to cause all kinds of mischief before someone finally figures out how to catch him and extract three magical wishes. Suitable for toddlers and preschoolers.

Through a combination of virtuoso manipulation, beautiful music, theatrical illusion, and artistic insight, the original vignettes presented in Simple Gifts provide an entertaining and sensitive vision of what it is to be human. The performance explores a range of emotions with characters and actions that are amazingly convincing. The marionettes are engineering marvels and the quality of movement is extraordinary.
