Join us the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month for our series featuring films about and starring seniors. We’ll show some of your old favorites, as well as newer releases destined to become classics. All films begin at 2pm in the Main Library Auditorium, except where noted. You don’t have to be a "senior" yourself to attend—adults of all ages are welcome!

May 24: MARCH OF THE PENGUINS (G)
This documentary captures the fascinating mating ritual performed by the South Pole’s population of emperor penguins. Every March, these creatures begin the quest to start a family, and must travel hundreds of miles across the frozen tundra to do so.
Jun 14: SABRINA (NR)
Sabrina, a chauffeur's daughter, has always had unreciprocated feelings for David, the playboy son of her father’s rich employers. After returning from Paris a glamorous woman, Sabrina finally catches David’s attention, but David’s older brother Linus thinks their courtship is bad for the family business.
Jun 28: SUSPICION (NR)
Lina, a wealthy heiress, runs away with the charming scoundrel Johnnie in spite of her disapproving father. After their marriage, Johnnie’s risky financial ventures cause her concern, and when Johnnie’s business partner dies under suspicious circumstances, Lina fears her husband might kill her for her inheritance.
Jul 12: THE NATURAL (NR)
A once promising baseball player is on his way to stardom in the big leagues when his dream are shattered and his career is prematurely ended. Sixteen years later he joins the roster of the lowly New York Knights to try a come back despite the pain he suffers.
Jul 26: THE RED PONY (NR)
A story of conflict between a 9 year old boy, his father, and the family's hired hand. The son finds his way from despair to contentment with the aid of a small red pony.
Aug 9: GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH (NR)
A splashy, colorful look at life under the big top that weaves the personal stories of the performers in with the spectacle and color of the circus—including a big train wreck.
Aug 23: PAINT YOUR WAGON (PG)
Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood play gold prospectors in the 1800's who are married to the same woman.
